Gary Stern,
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Stern served in an Israeli Defense Forces special forces unit and has received specialized training in combat techniques including anti-terrorism, weapons and self-defense. He also has experience in a counter-surveillance anti-terrorist sniper unit and has executed various combat missions.
After his service in the Israeli Defense Forces, Mr. Stern worked for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, at the United States Embassy in Tel Aviv as the personal bodyguard to the American Ambassador. He also led a protective detail at the Oslo Talks in the Middle East and protective details for President Bill Clinton, Warren Christopher and Madelyn Albright during their visits to Israel.
Mr. Stern was awarded a Meritorious Honor Award from the U.S. Department of State as the Special Middle East Coordinator for the Peace Process and the President’s Special Middle East Coordinator. Mr. Stern joined ASC in 2007 and has 20 years of on-end planning and operations knowledge and experience. |
